Stevie Wonder In Performance At The White House

The Second Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song to Stevie Wonder has been presented by President Barack Obama at this special concert in the East Room of the White House in celebration of African American History Month.

A tribute has been given to those songs of Stevie Wonder which topped the charts internationally.

Performers along with Stevie Wonder himself include Tony Bennett, Diana Krall. Will I Am, Kathleen Battle and more.

The Library of Congress created the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song to honor artists whose creative output transcends distinctions between musical styles and idioms, bringing diverse listeners together, and fostering mutual understanding and appreciation.
