Stevie Wonder: Stevie Wonder performs with Prince


In Paris Stevie Wonder surprised fans last week when the singer invited Prince to sing alongside him. The soul star was performing in Bercy when the 'Purple Rain' musician joined him on stage. Prince said that audiences shouldn't be surprised as he tries to go to Wonder's shows as much as possible. Prince told Le Parisien: "When Stevie is live somewhere and he knows I'm not far away, he always calls me up to invite me along."He added: "Then I come and take my guitar… just in case."

Stevie Wonder: Stevie Wonder Hit Covered By Timberlake's Esmée Denters


Stevie Wonder had one of his hits covered as part of Billboard.com's Mashup Monday series. Dutch singer Esmée Denters gave a simple performance of Wonder's 1977 hit single "As," singing with just an acoustic guitar accompaniment. Denters the 21 year old, who is fluent in both English and Dutch, started her rise to fame in part as a result of a series of appearances on YouTube. She has been signed to Justin Timberlake's new Tennman Records. "As" reached number 36 on the Billboard Hot 100 when it was released as a single in 1977. It first appeared on Wonder's classic album Songs In The Key Of Life, which also included such iconic songs as "Sir Duke," "Isn't She Lovely?" and "I Wish."
